Baskar Santhrasegran is a semiconductor manufacturing leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning manufacturing operations, automation, digital transformation, and operational excellence. In his current global role, he leads Smart Manufacturing Automation across Assembly, Test, Bump and Probe operations, driving transformation and advancing automation capabilities across semiconductor manufacturing environments. A key focus of Baskar’s career has been Lights-Out Factory transformation. He brings extensive hands-on experience in factory start-ups and transforming highly manual manufacturing processes into fully automated operations. His expertise includes developing automation strategies, integrating smart manufacturing technologies, and building intelligent, scalable, and future-ready manufacturing environments. Baskar is also actively involved in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and emerging Agentic AI capabilities to enhance productivity, decision-making, manufacturing efficiency, and operational responsiveness.
