Mr Ahmad Faiz Abdul Hamid is the Site Services Director of First Solar Malaysia Sdn Bhd. He graduated from University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia in Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (Hons). He possesses over 30 years of working experience.
Throughout his career at First Solar, he has been involved in strategic business planning, project management and day-to-day operations and maintenance of various management responsibilities, mainly overseeing Facilities Management of solar panel manufacturing plants and their supporting facilities covering a total of 3.6 million square feet of manufacturing facilities located on 200 acres of land within Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Kulim, Kedah. His current roles also include leading highly competent teams managing the manufacturing plant Waste Water Treatment Plant, Ultra-Pure Water System, Waste Management, Analytical Lab and solar panel Recycling Plants.
